The staff here are super polite and friendly. Alya was the one who served us and she was really nice, but honestly everyone here is the same too. The food tastes amazing, and even just one dish is more than enough for two people. Definitely worth coming back

I must say this is the best malay food I've ever had elevated to this class. It's pricey yes, but you'll understand why when you try. The signature Terung Goreng Belacan is superb. It has a really good texture contrast from the soft brinjal with the crispy ikan bilis. It's a dry dish, I feel if there's a belacan sauce for dipping would be perfect. 4.5/5. For mains, I ordered the Sambal Petai Squid. It's a tad pricey @ RM58 but it's quite a generous portion. To me the spiciness is very balanced, you'll feel the heat in your stomach later but not during eating in the mouth. Probably a little bit more petai would be great but the hero is the protein. The squid is marvelous! soft but not too chewy, perfectly cooked. OMG I love it. 5/5. I'm missing a masak lemak which is their signature so my last dish had to be in lemak so i ordered the Pumpkin with Pucuk Manis Masak Lomak. To be fair, I rarely had this recipe so I had nothing to compare to, but personally I'd like it more if the broth is a little thicker. It win me with the pucuk manis, because I just love herbs. The pumpkin could be abit softer though. I'd give this a 4/5. They always put a red cili padi on every dish as a garnish. It's not the really spicy kind so you can just eat it raw if you like a little bit more kick without destroying your tastebud. I leave nothing left on the plate and I mean it as a great compliment. The ambience and service is great. If I have foreign friends visiting and wants to try malay cuisine, this place would be a safe place to recommend. I guarantee they'll go back with a good impression of Malaysia.

Amazing Malaysian dishes, friendly staff and cosy restaurant! Only minor comment is that a few pieces of beef was not tender - but I consider this relatively minor and likely a one-off experience. This is definitely our go-to place for Malaysian food in Hartamas!

1. The food is very Malay. I love them. 2. Service staff were excellent. 3. Pricewise - quite dear. Very high 4. Atmosphere - good but fake/plastic plants as decor were a turn-off. Tasteless. 5. We parked our car outside the restaurant. A parking valet came & told us the parking system was a valet service system. He moved our car a few bays away. He charged us RM10. Daylight robbery.

Went to cili kampung because i heard many people say this place's masak lemak is one of the best. We ordered masak lemak beef, terung goreng berlada and telur dadar. It was flavourful, beef is very tender, terung sambal not spicy even sauteed with cili padi, telur dadar also is fluffy and tasty as what my kids say. Honestly I have tasted better masak lemak than this one. But if you happen to be around here, this is one of best option to have kampung style cuisine. Thank you to staff SITI for her excellent service to customer, very polite and attentive. Should maintain this kind of attitude towards customer. Good job

My go to location. Celebrated a farewell at this location even though there are other much nearer outlets due to the amazing taste. There was a delay in receiving our sotong order. But the taste made it worth the wait. And the amazing staff named Airul who made sure to apologize and kept the atmosphere comfortable throughout. Kudos to Airul.
